This is a stainless steel mesh metal filter for Yama siphons, as an alternative to the cloth filter assembly that comes with the siphon. Compatible with: Yama TCA-3 tabletop siphon, Yama TCA-5 tabletop siphon, and Yama SY-8 stovetop siphon. Without tension on the spring, the the distance between the filter and hook is about 4 3/4″. Under max tension, the distance between the filter and hook is about 8 3/8″.
