I liked this product very much. I’ve dehydrated tomatoes and herbs so far. Oh and some bananas to make them into chips. However mine didn’t crisp up as I thought they would. They came out rather chewy, even after drying them for 10 hours! Two negative things I can say about the machine is that it’s loud and large bodied. Other than that I’m happy with this purchase.

This broke after 3 months. Bought it 8/20 and it died 11/20 while I was dehydrating 6 trays of fruit. Are you kidding me? I am so DISAPPOINTED.

Good quality materials. Runs. No off switch to check trays; no heat adjustment. Browned a spot on the tray. Will try rotating next time. Heating element on top when the natural thing would have been at the bottom and let the heat rise. Don’t plan on jerky; instruction say to half cook first. Legs too short to allow circulation. Strongly prefer old, old Harvest Maid dehydrator.
