[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems like a lot of steps once you open up this coffee maker. The instructions are very lengthy in the beginning. First you had to soak the filter in water for 15 minutes then put the filter in the charcoal water filter holder then snap it and then run water over that for like 2 minutes. Then they wanted me to run water through the machine before I could even use it. Because I have hard water I have to order filters through their website because these filters only last 2 months. After all this I was able to finally get a good pot of coffee but so many steps to get there.

The programmable timer works precisely. We both like the water filter feature and the style of the coffee maker.
Another great feature is the removable reusable grounds basket. I would recommend this coffee

This is more expensive then most basic drip coffee makers but I had a gift card so bought it anyway. The hot plate part began rusting almost immediately and has rust flaking off of it. Every time I need to change the time or auto brew time, I have to google the instructions because it’s so complicated.
