I LOVED this kettle before I even received it, but when I opened the box I noticed the handle is a bright white, and the kettle belly is an eggshell white. It’s not very noticeable in pictures, but you can sure notice it in person. Also, the manual says there is an internal 1-cup & 2-cup marker on the inside of the kettle, but there is nothing on the inside. Three of us have looked extensively, but there are zero internal markings. And, as other people have mentioned, it is a bit loud!

It heats well, making some noise as it does so (possibly due to our high mineral level in the water). I likely should have gotten a smaller unit (such as 3 or 4 cups only).
