Purchased this because we wanted a four slice toaster but also needed it to be less than 6.5” in height to fit intended space and it was the ONLY one that fit. Happy we found it because it worked perfectly. Basic controls so easy to operate and so far after 3 weeks of operation it is working fine. Slots are not oversized and I was concerned about toasting items other than bread but frozen store bought bagels and muffins fit fine. Overall satisfied with this purchase.

I had to return it, since it didn’t have the slide out crumb tray I thought I was buying. I couldn’t keep the drop down tray fastened! The toaster was so hot on top (despite the cool-touch sides), that I was afraid that the heat from the drop down tray would burn my laminate counter. And that the heat from the top might catch my curtains on fire, even moving the unit far away from the window. (I have limited counter space.) Also, the lever was so strong, I thought my toast would be launched on my counter (or worse, on the floor!). Very disappointing.

The lever doesn’t always stay down when I drop the toast. Also didn’t realize there isn’t a bagel setting on this toaster.
