Powerful 300 watt motor does good to blend, crushes and pulverizes. Glass picture holds 1 litter. Stainless seal blades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nostalgia Retro Blender is easy to use right out of the box. I did not need to look at the directions to figure out how to immediately start using it and making a delicious smoothie. The main pitcher is glass and the travel cup and grinding cup are heavy duty plastic. I used frozen fruit in my smoothie and there were only a couple of chunks left after blending a few times in a row. The pulse lever was easy to use although I did wonder if it might eventually break off after frequent use. The Retro style of the blender is cute and would not be ugly if left on the counter. The blender is very easy to clean as the stainless steel blades detach from each pitcher/cup. Also, there is only one blending speed. The front part of the blender machine is somewhat deceiving as it looks like a dial and a digital on/off switch. The blender is on when plugged in and off when unplugged. This is a great blender for small and personal batches.
