I normally set the dial to 1.5-2 and it makes the perfect toast and not burnt at all. My family, especially my kids love to eat toast every morning and this is such a huge time saver for me compared to my old one which already broke down after 3-4 months of use. I absolutely love this toaster because I can toast regular bread, bagel and even defrost
bread plus it has a wide slot so thin or thick bread fits right in the slot.

It really works 50% faster than a normal toaster. It’s so awesome because I am always running late in the morning and make a bagel or toast every morning to eat on my drive to work. It’s fast! Also, the slots are wider than a normal toaster so it pretty much fits any size bagel you can throw at it. It’s perfect for specialty bread. It’s easy to clean and the stainless steel does not show fingerprints. This is pretty much the perfect toaster! Plus, Farberware is an amazing brand so I know it will last forever.

Well made and good quality. Has three options how to use: cancel, bagel and defrost. To defrost is my favorite, to make toast straight from the fridge. Also there is tray for crumbs to clean afterwards. Must have at my house.
