There is a handy opening on the lid that allows you to drop fruit for example into what you are blending. The blender looks to be a high end product to be used in any kitchen.
What I used the blender for was to make fresh bread crumbs! I used the pulse function to make bread crumbs per the instructions in the manual that came with the blender. It was a quick and efficient process. I cut up the bread, put it in the blender and then pulsed about four times and I had bread crumbs to use in a recipe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a busy mom and always on a rush .I love making my morning shakes with my protein before leaving my kids at school and going to the gym and this blender blends my shakes well and really fast which is really great . I also like to use it to make my favorite sauces and dips and they always come out perfectly blended and chopped. I would definitely recommend this blender.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender worked great for me blending frozen fruits at low speed without any difficulties and the result was a creamy and delicious shake, much better than my previous blender where I only achieved this by adding more liquid. It does not generate much noise, it has a nice finish and it looks very resistant, the glass jar is shorter but wider than the previous one so it has a good capacity for 40oz and has 14 blending functions, the only thing that seemed wrong to me The material of the lid was finished but it did not represent any problem since it closes well and has an opening that seems to fulfill the function of releasing heat when necessary. I am very happy with my new blender that now matches the rest of my appliances.
