I bought the twister jar about a month ago and have used it to make hummus twice. It does a great job and the results are so much smoother than when using a traditional food processor. The Blendtec motor is very powerful and as you use the twister jar and twist it, you can feel the power. Almost too powerful for the little jar when using the salsa/dips preset button. But I think after a few more uses I’ll get more comfortable with it. I also like the size as it is easy to remove your finished product (as opposed to the standard jar which can be oversized when trying to make small portions). I look forward to trying more recipes with the Twister Jar in order to justify its hefty price tag.

I bought this size for my blendtec so I could make single serving smoothies for myself each day. It is the perfect size! And after I make it I just pop the top and stick in a straw and I don’t have to worry about spillage or waste!
