I have had this juicer since the 1990’s. I love it and have never had any mechanical problems. I bought this one after researching many juicers. The masticating gears are a heavy metal and stand up to many years of use. It has one tough motor! ( I used it this morning). I have healed health issues juicing and believe in the healing properties of this type of nutrition. Money very well spent! This is the same amount I paid for this machine in the 90’s-definitely a bargain!

This is my first slow masticating juicer and I’m super stoked. I’ve made about 12 16oz juices and 6 garlic/ginger/lemon shots over about 2 weeks. The pulp is super dry, which is awesome. It’s a slow process juicing and cleaning is simple but time consuming, but I was prepared for this. It juices greens, beets, apples, celery, carrots wonderfully. The machine itself and the manual look like they are from the 70s, but i don’t mind. To get the warranty, you literally complete a page from the manual that you physically write on, cut out and then it says “glue here to seal”…hilariously outdated. As long as the juicer keeps producing the BEST tasting juice as it already is I’m happy! I’m thinking of buying their citrus juicer to run alongside this one because it’s not the best for citrus.

Despite being more difficult to clean (by a few minutes) than a single auger juicer, the juice created is worth it. There’s more of it and a higher quality. The staining of the internal plastic parts by carrots requires additional steps to periodically remove. The build quality of the juicer in general is excellent throughout.
