I tend to like a lot about this. It’s a nice compact tool easy to handle and store. Rechargeable with USB-C. Quiet and the bags are reusable (better for the environment), only 2 included, are able to be boiled and/or microwaved. Not sure how long they will last but depending on their longevity will determine if they are more or less economical. The glass container is on the smaller size I need to see if there are more options. There’s an app that you can use to help track dates etcetera but I haven’t tried that yet. So if you have tried the bulkier heat sealed bag system and are looking for a smaller solution this might be exactly what you need. I took off a star because it only had 2 bags and a small container with it.

This Caso Cordless Food Vacuum Sealer is compact and easy to use. You just place the Sealer on the vacuum valves and press the 1-touch button. But there are limitations to its use. The kit includes one small glass canister with lid and two zip lock bags. The directions say to leave 1.2 inch free of food in the glass canister which leaves the capacity very small. For the zip lock bags, food must be 0.8 inch from the valve. Also, if you store raw meats the bags are not reusable. Additional bags and canisters will have to be purchased. This Sealer good for storing small amounts of food for long periods of time. It is rechargeable with the included USB cord.

This is a great option or alternative to the larger vacuum sealers because sometimes I don’t want to bust out the large one, make a bag and then seal just one item. This sealer comes with a glass container and 2 reusable bags, which are great to quickly seal up smaller items or portions. The main unit is light and portable, and has a rechargeable battery so it can be taken and used anywhere. It has worked flawlessly so far. Now I just need to purchase more bags.
