Arrived in 2 days but it was pretty beat up. Looks nice but make a loud humming noise but it could be from it being dropped and banged up. Door doesnt close all the way because its bent.

If you hear any ticking noises from the fridge or ice build up, unplug immediately. Take off back panel and check the condenser fan. The fan bracket is cheap plastic and if that heats up it melts and causes the fan to topple over and start hitting other parts causing the ticking sound. I’ll replace the fan and make a metal bracket for it and see how it goes.

My refrigerator is less than 4 years old. I had several issues with it icing up occasionally but then I started smelling a burning plastic smell. I discovered that the fan was defunct as a result of the plastic housing melting. I received a new fan, motor and plastic housing from Magic Chef for free. Unfortunately, it appears to be doing the same thing. So am looking to buy another brand to replace it.
