Conveniently boil and serve hot water for tea, hot cocoa, French press coffee, and ramen with the Proctor Silex 1 Liter Electric Kettle. The cord detaches from the kettle for easy serving. Boil hot water in the kettle, then carry to the table or anywhere you’re serving hot beverages or need boiling water. It’s perfect for adding hot water to soups or your favorite recipes. The kettle automatically turns off when it reaches a boil, and boil-dry protection keeps the kettle from scorching when it’s empty. Filling the kettle is simple. With convenient dual water windows, you can view the water level from either side of the kettle. And the pull-up handle makes it easy to lift the lid to add water. The kettle has a simple on/off switch that illuminates when the kettle is on. The kettle has 1000 watts to boil up to 1 liter of water faster than a microwave and safer than a stovetop. Make a quick, hot cup of tea or instant coffee anytime without the wait – perfect for hectic mornings. The immersed heating element is situated in the bottom of the kettle for even, reliable heating. Includes a 3-year limited warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach Proctor Silex Kettle works great. Heats water really quick that way I can have that cup of tea or bowl of Ramen.. y husband uses it for his oatmeal. It’s cute and very functional. We use it everyday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kettle was alright for me. For the pros, it works efficiently and quickly at boiling water and it turns off by itself. It’s relatively compact, not bulky, and the handle does not get hot. However, it does have some design components that are important to note. For me the cord is the main issue with this kettle. It is a detachable cord, which normally wouldn’t be a problem at all, except this one doesn’t fit securely when attaching it to the kettle. It moves around and feels flimsy, often times you have to really push it in and play around with it to turn it on. The cord is also super short! If you have a space near an outlet where you can plug this in and have it sit somewhere flat, this won’t be an issue for you. But for me, I like to use my kettle in various different places and there isn’t always an outlet right next to it, so a longer cord would be very useful. Overall, it does the job quickly but the cord does need some work.

So far, I love this product. It makes an amazing fresh tea cup. I don’t have to worry about leaving it on, I can set it up and go do something else, but sometimes I do forget to turn it on. When I pour water to the cup the water comes out the sides.
