The fact that I can buy two different types of coffee and make it in this machine is something I didn’t even know existed. I’ve been using K-Cup coffee maker for a couple years now. I’ve always wanted a coffee maker that made the espresso pods, but never wanted to replace my K-Cup coffee maker for something that I wasn’t sure if I was going to like, considering I had never actually tried the espresso pods. So to find out that this machine has the capability of brewing either kind, was something I didn’t even know existed. The K-Cup side works great and has more features than my original K-Cup coffee maker provided. It has a 8 oz, 10 oz and 12 oz. And even a bold setting on top of that. So I got to try my usual K-Cups on different strengths, which was fun experimenting. The espresso pods I was able to experiment with different brands by ordering different ones online. Having had no experience using an espresso pod machine I was blown away to find out how this worked. The trick is finding the ones in the aluminum pods to ensure freshness and a nice crema. This machine punctures the aluminum pod which releases the pressure and produces the crema. Since I’ve started using this I haven’t even made a K-Cup coffee because it turns out these espresso pods were exactly what I needed all this time to be satisfied in a cup of coffee. But I still have some of my favorite brand of k-cups, and now I can go back and forth depending on what kind of coffee I want at that time. So just having that option makes this coffee maker the best coffee maker I’ve ever had. When it comes to brewing either type of coffee it is quick and instantly starts brewing. You don’t have to wait for it to heat up, it’s like it’s always ready to go. It has a nice size water reservoir that holds at least 60 oz of water. The espresso pod Brewer also has the options of 2 oz, 4 oz or 6 oz cup, also with the bold option. So there are a lot of settings that allow you to play around with finding exactly how you want your cup of coffee, which is great. I like to play around with things and change things up just to try different ways. The buttons can be a little touchy at times and you have to put your finger right over top of it, but you just get used to doing that it, it’s nothing to complain about. The coffee maker also plays a little electronic tune when you’re coffee starts and when it’s ready. It’s a mild tone it’s not annoying, and actually very cute. I also like that when making the espresso pod coffee and you’re finished, it dispenses the used pod into a little compartment at the bottom for easy disposal. In front of that compartment is a little tray that allows you to use a smaller espresso cup. All the parts that need to be cleaned or easily removable. It’s easy to assemble and disassemble when needed. It’s also a nice size so it doesn’t take up as much space on the counter as typical ordinary K-Cup coffee Brewers take. The smell of coffee coming out of this machine when I’m brewing coffee is enough to fill the house, I can smell it upstairs in my bedroom when my husband is downstairs making us coffee. I have told anybody that will listen to me about how great this coffee brewer is. Like I mentioned before, I had no idea they even made coffee makers that could Brew two different kinds of coffee. I’m very impressed with the Instant Brand for being so innovative in the coffee brewing category. They really stepped it up and I can’t ever imagine owning another brand of a coffee brewer. I’m a fan of this one for life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am rather impressed with this coffee maker. I have used other brands and I thought they were tough to beat. This is smaller than most others which I like as I don’t have a lot of extra counter space. I love the fact that you can actually take the water tank off unlike others. The coffee brews pretty quick as well. Also, the coffee brews hot! I also loves that it will play a little tune to let you know when you plug it in, turn it on and also when it is done brewing. There is also a bold function which I love. Oh my gosh and how could I forget the touch buttons!
Now onto the cons of this machine. There aren’t many. The machine is a little loud when brewing. The coffee tastes good however it is weak. I thought that maybe it was me at first. The coffee flavor really comes through only on the bold setting. Otherwise it really is pretty weak when you use the pods. These are the only downfalls I have for this machine.
