I did a lot of research on this and other models, I chose the NC1000 over many brands. I was very excited when it arrived, it was quiet, easy to use, clean up was very easy. That being said, the auger pops off all the time, and within a month the plastic pieces broke. No one was available on the printed warranty and emails came back unanswered. Finally, reaching customer care instead of the warranty they said the part was defective and mailed another two pieces. After two weeks, the auger started popping off again, and another piece broke into pieces. Although I like the features of this machine, I am disappointed in the quality. We are everyday juicers, and our juiceman of 24 years still works…maybe I should just give up and go back to that one.

I bought it a month ago and use it every 3-5 days, making enough juice to last. I love how easy it is to use, and to clean. Honestly, washing the veggies is the only time consuming process. So worth it to be get in so much GREEN every day. There is no way I could eat that many veggies in a day, and I’m 99% vegan. I have so much more energy!! It is great.
In the photo below, I added lots of red veggies like beets, rhubarb, peppers. Since then, I fill 10oz canning jars to the brim to keep juice from oxidizing over those days in the frig. LOVE THIS!

Would not recommend this juicer as there is a tendency of the on and off switch to become loose and then failing to start. As seen in below in the link

I bought this juicer 5-6 years back after using the horizontal masticating juicer which worked well and gave no trouble, but I was tired of cutting veggies in small pieces.
This Mega juice worked well initially though pulp used to get trapped in the small opening and won’t come out at times and had to stop and clean manually.
Then I noticed that over time on and off switch becoming little loose, but it would still work. There is no way to tighten it once it is loose.
Eventually one day it stopped working.
In total must have used this juicer not more than 40 times for not more than 20 -30 minutes.
I contacted the customer service, but they said without receipt that cannot help.
I did register my juicer, but they disagreed. I even said I am willing to pay for repair, but they refused.
Neither did they have the switch to replace
Paying 350+ plus dollars for this juicer and the kind of customer service and option of repair seems not practical at all.
Even washers and dryers which cost so much the companies have services to repair even if it is paid.
My husband who is an engineer opened it up. Seemed mother board has gone bad.
What is point of warranty on motor if mother board gets bad and no way to replace it.
