You can also adjust your settings on a per drink basis without losing your desired settings.

Making milk beverages is easier than ever thanks to the fine foam frother. The frother works by siphoning milk from a container into an automated frothing device that delivers richly textured foam for all of your favorite milk based drinks. If you're looking to accessorize, the frother is also compatible with JURA's stainless steel and Cool Control milk containers.

The water tank on the D6 holds a respectable 64oz of water. The bean hopper is designed with an aroma preservation lid and can hold up to 7oz of whole bean coffee and the dreg drawer can hold up to 16 pucks of coffee before needing to be emptied. Maintenance of the machine is made simple thanks to rinsing and descaling programs.

The descaling program can be programmed with your water hardness to determine how frequently it needs to be run and will remind when it's time to descale your machine. For the energy conscious, the D6 can be programmed with designated shut off times to prevent excess power drain when not in use. The D6 brews using a powerful thermoblock boiler and a high-performance 15 bar pump.

You can program your desired coffee dosage and water volume to pull your ideal shot every time. There are also two brew temperature settings as well as JURA's P.E.P. (Pulse Extraction Process) to ensure crema rich extractions.

Lastly, the spouts on the D6 are height adjustable and can accommodate cups between 2.6 and 4.4 inches.
