I will be returning this grill. It is not what I expected. I would have liked to be able to adjust the height of the grill, like one I used to have. The size is good.

I have an ancient grill similar in design to this that cooks a chicken breast in about 30 minutes. This grill took almost an hour to cook the chicken, and unlike my old grill, the chicken never did look nice and browned, but remained an unappetizing white.
It requires that you add water to the drip pan to keep the unit from smoking, and you have to keep an eye on it so you can add water when the water level gets too low. The drip element is way too close to the grill, which means that you have to make sure none of the meat or piece of fat dips down or it will cause the heating element to spark.
It was tricky to put together because the “feet” had to be attached and the screws were very short. There was no way to reach in and get the screws to point in the right direction so they could be screwed in.
I’ll be returning this unit and going back to my ancient grill–I hope it has a year or two left in it!

I particularly didn’t like it and probably won’t use it again. I used good mood meat but it’s still the fat dripping on it caught fire. So I pulled all Miami dolphin didn’t use it again. I would never used it indoors I had it outdoors this time. I will not be recommending it to anyone else. If I wanted fire I would have gotten a hibachi or charcoal grill.
