[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always wanted to try a pour-over but wasn’t sure how to do it. Thankfully I found this product from OXO. Overall, I am very pleased with the design and quality of the product. The packaging was simple and didn’t include styrofoam (always a plus in my book). The box comes with everything you need, including a starter pack of 10 #2 filters.
The three pieces are extremely well made and of premium quality – typical of OXO brand products. It looked so clean out of the box, I almost forgot to wash it before my first use. Using the provided instructions (extremely simple) I made my first cup. The hardest part was waiting for the water to boil.
First cup: 6oz. cup using 10g of coffee (2T) and it took 2 mins and 25 seconds.
Second cup: 12 oz. cup using 20g of coffee (4T) and it took 2 mins and 45 seconds.
The taste was excellent and equally compares to our OXO brewer. This product is ideal for those who want to have less than 4 cups of coffee. Plus, the clean up on this product is a breeze.
Clean up is very simple, doesn’t take long, and is easy to dry and store. As a family who dislikes clutter this pour-over coffee maker is ideal. Simple to use, easy to clean, doesn’t take up a lot of counter/cabinet space, and makes an excellent cup of coffee in just a few minutes. I definitely recommend this for any coffee lover.
The downsides to this product are minimal:
First, if you like to drink from wide mouth mugs (4.25″), this won’t work for you as the base doesn’t cover past the rim (see photo).
Next, Using 4T for a 12 oz cup of coffee is a bit much. In comparison, our brewer uses 4T to makes double that amount. So, if this is your primary coffee maker, you will use a lot of coffee.
Finally, I recommend adding the water/coffee ratios on the product itself like under the lid or on the side. OXO provides a small card with the instructions and ratios, but I’d like to have them on the product instead.
Overall, I highly recommend this OXO product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from OXO to review.
This product came at a great time because my drip coffee maker broke right after the pour-over coffee maker arrived so I was able to really put this to the test.
It made great coffee and I loved everything about it, except I wish it would have some kind of lip to keep it a bit more secure on the cup. This is definitely one of my favorite OXO products.

I don’t drink coffee everyday so I don’t need anything big and this is perfect for those mornings when I feel like a cup.
