I am 5’2″ tall. The problem with this mixer is how tall it is. It’s several inches taller than my older handheld mixer. I bought it because I have arthritis in my shoulder and back, and thought it might be an upgrade for when I mix things that I usually mix with a spoon. It’s not, really. It weighs about the same, but I have to hold my arm so much higher (when mixing on a standard height counter) that I’m in more pain than if I just mixed it by hand. I might be able to use it on a lower table, but that’s not an option in my kitchen.

The whisk on my mixer broke during the mixing of cream cheese buttercream. I note this to say that it was not improperly used and The attachments were inserted correctly. I have only use this unit a handful of times as I normally use my stand mixer for about 99% of my projects. This is clearly a manufacturers defect.

Fourth use mixing frosting and the end of the beater literally fell off into the frosting. So disappointing since I had such high hopes. Not the quality I’m used to with all my other Kitchenaid appliances for sure.
