This popper has serious issues that affect it’s usability. Yes, It looks nice on the counter, and if you just wanted it for looks, it fulfills that. The power on/off switch is a nice touch. I have another model that you plug to pop and unplug to stop, and that part was nice to see.
Once you start actually trying to pop corn is where things fall apart here. It spits a steady stream of unpopped kernals into the bowl until it starts popping. A few popped kernals dispense, all alongside unpopped. Eventually, the popping is over, and I would guess roughly half of the kernals are unpopped.
The other part of the adventure is that unpopped kernals will get in the bowl, then pop 15-20 seconds later blowing popped corn all over the counter and floor.
