[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Fotile steam oven! Very easy and intuitive to operate. Looks good on the countertop. Works well.

I have used this little oven as my only oven source for 4 months as I shopped for my new range. I have attempted all manner of foods: whole chickens and parts of chicken, steamed veg, roasted veg, homemade cookies, pies, cakes and muffins, frozen pizzas, homemade bread, steamed rice, enchiladas, etc. I cook almost every single day and it shows. Which is fine by me. I don’t need things to look new when they’re not new. The function has maintained throughout it’s rigorous trials but it needs quite a bit of tending to during the cooking process because it automatically turns off when your time setting reaches 0. Getting to know the settings through trial and error is the main reason I give this a low rating. The manual is thick but only because it’s in several languages. The information it provides is minimal. Another reason for the lower rating is that the size of the oven inhibits preheating significantly. The time it takes to warm it up is as others have said the same as a full size oven but what I found difficult is that opening the door lowers your temp a lot and then the timer won’t start until it warms up to temp again adding 3-5 minutes at least to your bake time. It cooks cookies, frozen pizza, bone in chicken and steams veg well. Everything else needed temp adjusting, foil on or off at intervals, and changing of setting to get to cook things through. Never did figure out how to get my breads to cook well and now I have a full size range so I don’t need to. I never tried the dehydrate. I think it would do a good job of that. The size will require certain size casserole dishes and pans and require adjusting of cooking from a recipe that asks for pans too large for the oven. In my opinion it got the job done but I think I could have spent less and found something just as good. I don’t feel it’s worth the price.
