As such, the Robot needs its own tamper, one capable of reaching the recessed coffee evenly. The Robot Leveling Tamper, designed by Paul Pratt to fit the Robot baskets snugly, features a stainless steel base with a tapered edge to prevent the vacuum effect, a POM middle section to keep the base centered on its long descent, an aluminum cap, and a stainless steel stud to hold it all together.
