Preparing The Bellman
Getting started with the Bellman stovetop steamer is as simple as filling up the water reservoir and letting it heat on your stove while you prep your espresso. It’s best to fill the Bellman about halfway, and adding water that is already boiling can speed up the heating process exponentially. It’s very simple to know when you’re ready to start steaming as you will hear and see steam releasing from the handle once the Bellman is fully pressurized. This steamer is suitable for gas, electric, ceramic, and induction stove tops. Induction cooktops must be must be compatible with non-magnetic 304 grade stainless steel, or require an induction convertor/adaptor plate. It is also travel-friendly for those who like to take their espresso equipment on the go.

While the Bellman stovetop steamer may not create the same type of pressure as most commercial espresso machines, it does make use of a two-hole steaming wand.
