I had a small round Nesco prior to getting the Excalibur. The difference is night and day! Everything dries so quickly. It is so much more efficient. No timer is needed. Things are dry when they are dry. Save your money on the timer. Make sure if you purchase, you can go all the way up to 155°. Best decision I ever made.

Once upon a time, one of the benefits of the Excalibur was the ability to replace broken parts. Years ago, my fan died, and I was able to order a replacement and install it myself. Recently, my thermostat broke. I can order a new one for $30, but the company is charging from $94 to $222 to ship me this $30 part. Yes, it’s a great product. But why pay the premium if you can’t extend its life by fixing broken parts?
