I’ve had this for about 6 months and have used it a few times mostly to make cauliflower rice. Unfortunately after 1 month of use, the right toggle on the lid snapped off when I was simply attaching the lid back onto the bowl as directed in the user manual. At first, I thought that this was somehow user error and was able to still fasten this to the bowl. So I shrugged it off as my bad. But just recently I pulled the lid out of the dishwasher (top shelf) and saw that the other toggle has completely snapped off.
Clearly this is due to the quality of the plastic. At this point, I’m going to be forced to try and purchase a replacement lid after only 6 months of light use. I’ve been a Kitchen Aid fan for a while, and love my other kitchen aid products that have stood the test of time. It’s just very sad that this product doesn’t meet the same standards.

I am very very very very excited for this food processor, I’ve been eyeballing, saving, and hitting my husband photos of this food processor!!! I got married 3 years ago and I don’t know why I haven’t pinned this to my wedding registry! At first I wanted the 7 cup… but then after watching over 10 videos of different types and sizes of the food processor, we decided to go bigger. I am So happy we choose this one! I’m mind blown how amazing it is, not only does it save you time, it saves your energy from cutting every veggie up, it’s so awesome! My husband and I first made salsa with this food processor and we were both very excited we assembled it together and put the ingredients together and even pulsed, giggling ☺️ we love our new food processor and can’t wait to make many many MANY more recipes! Seriously time saving!!!

The feeding tube will get stuck in your machine and you will never be able to remove it. Kitchenaid designed it so there is a slight the is 1/3 of an inch and when pushing food through like carrots the feeder pops through the other side. Impossible to remove and is stuck permanently in the machine.
