Once hot, this device really heats up various sandwich types (turkey & cheese my fav). sometimes I would put my sandwich on before the green ready indicator light came on as it seemed to take longer than desired; it still worked just fine and quick.

It does not take long to toast and melt a sandwich to perfection. Its extra long so it help with making a couple sandwiches at a time. It heats up fast and proportionally toasts the melts evenly on both sides. My favorite part about this hot sandwich melter is it compresses evenly and locks. This helps prevent uneven cooking. It is pretty and it is compact so it goes well with any kitchen appliances and fits anywhere on your counter. It is also incredibly easy to clean. A wipe down is sufficient in most cases.
