[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Proctor Silex Petite Waffle Maker is the perfect size for one or two people. I need to eat gluten free. So I am using this waffle maker for myself. While the rest of the family uses a bigger waffle maker. Gluten free waffles come out great. They don’t fall apart. The cook time is about 2.5 minutes. I had an idea of making ‘bread’ waffles. Often I buy gluten free bread at the store. That bread falls apart and is dry. I whipped up a batch of simple gluten free flour and made some ‘bread’ waffles to use for my sandwiches and hamburgers. This waffle iron works great for that. The size of the waffles are just right for sandwiches and hamburgers. And the dough cooks really fast. Before I use the bread waffles for sandwiches, I toss a couple in the toaster. The waffle maker is small and does not take up a lot of room in my already full kitchen. It heats up fast. And is easy to clean. No grease is needed. The non stick surface keeps the dough from sticking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Proctor Silex double petite waffle maker. It’s straightforward to use and makes perfect waffles every time. The waffle maker is easy to use, with the red and green indicator lights making the cooking process fool proof, repeatable, consistent, and something a child could use with proper supervision. I tend to like my waffles really crispy, so I cook them about 30 seconds longer after the green light goes on. The rest of my family likes them just as the green light come on. At first, I was worried that the waffles would be too small but, now I like the smaller waffles versus the bigger traditional ones. They are the perfect size to pop in the toaster so, we make extra and freeze them. Then we pull them out when we want a waffle for a quick breakfast, snack or my favorite, waffle ice cream sandwiches. The more we use it, the more uses my kids have found to make things with waffles, like a peanut butter and jelly waffle sandwich. If you are looking for a simple, well made, perfect every time, waffle maker, don’t look any further then buying the Proctor Silex double petite waffle maker.
