It adds elegance to my kitchen and is easy to clean. Rice cooking, pressure cooking and slow cooking are the main features required in my Nepali/Nepalese American household. I cooked rice and pressure cooked Nepali meat curry and lentil daal that tasted as flavorful as they would in traditional cookware. I love that it shows the temperature and includes accessories that are useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, I was really nervous (but excited!) To try this pressure cooker, but I am so glad I did! Pressure cookers always kinda scared me, not exactly sure why, but I always thought that 1.) They were difficult to use, and 2.) I was terrified that it would like, explode in my face or something. I am happy to report that neither of these assumptions were true, in fact, quite the opposite was true. This pressure cooker came already assembled right out of the box, with very clear instructions. I felt pretty confident right after taking out of the box and reading over the instructions. So I followed the directions for the first use, which were clear and easy to understand. To my surprise, it didn’t explode, and all went well. I decided to use it that same night for dinner, which would be chicken and gravy. I was so shocked and pleased to have the ability to cook my chicken breasts from frozen! Seriously! Yep, I took them out of the freezer, added my liquid and seasoning to the pot, and pressure cooked, and they turned out incredibly moist and delicious, and in half the time it would have taken to thaw and cook on the stovetop. This method was not only quicker, but it tasted like it had cooked low and slow all day long. Incredible!
I have to add, do be sure to add enough liquid when using the pressure cook mode! I cooked a dish that ended up burnt, because I didn’t add enough liquid to the pot. Not only can you pressure cook with this awesome little guy, but you can also sear your food and slow cook in the same pot. Yes! This powerful, multi-functional miracle machine has replaced my bulky slow cooker and has quickly become my best friend in the kitchen! In addition to pressure cooking, slow cooking, and searing, this cooker also has a helpful temperature probe included. This feature is very helpful, especially when cooking meats.
I look forward to using my little kitchen buddy every single day. Not only is it fun and easy to use, it produces the most delicious meals with minimal effort and time. I was able to cut my time in the kitchen in half, and that is saying a lot! I am very very pleased with this product, as well as all appliances and products by Hamilton Beach! As a mom, meals can get boring and repetitive, especially when you have younger kids but this was unbelievable. I used it at home and tried several different meals and the main thing I noticed was how easy it was to use. Its durable and made to last and super easy to clean! I find myself using it every night for dinner. You just put your meal in, press the corresponding button and “Presto”, a tasty, healthier, perfectly cooked meal for the family.
