Cheap plastic and actually measure how much it holds because it doesn’t hold really anything. I wish I could return it. Only used 2 times

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this peronsal blender quite a bit. It’s compact, lightweight, and easy to clean.
In the past, I’ve thought about making fresh bread crumbs for recipes but didn’t want to deal with the bother of getting out the food processor. I made a cup of fresh breadcrumbs with this blender and they turned out just as well as with bigger appliences but with less hassle and not as much to clean up and put away.
I also tried a vinaigrette recipe from the Hamilton Beach recipes. The blender handled it very well, and it didn’t make so much that I’ll find half a jar of it forgotten in the back of the fridge months from now. Because it’s a smaller recipe, I can experiment with varrying the recipe in the blender and if I don’t like the results, I won’t have wasted a lot of ingredients or time.
I also used the blender to mix up the ingredients for an oven puff pancake. It blended up very quickly and well. Unfortunately I pulled it out of the oven before it was photo-worthy. Sorry, I was hungry.
I did try a couple of blender drinks, but I still need to fine tune those recipes. I used smaller ice cubes but the margarita had some blended ice and some larger pieces. I look forward to perfecting my blender drink recipes. I’m also working to find or scale a milkshake recipe that will fit in it.
I like that this personal blender will not take up a ton of cabinet space, will be easy to grab when I want to use it, and will let me experiment with smaller recipes.
