Upon pulling the dehydrator out of the box one of the rubber feet fell off due to a big crack in it. I’m working with LEM to try to get it taken care of…no luck yet. I’ve used the dehydrator once to make jerky (used only 4 of the trays as I’m used to doing a smaller batch and thought a small batch would be best for a test run). The jerky on all four trays was consistent. So, I’m hoping a bigger batch does just as well and I’m cautiously optimistic about this beast. One final note, LEM claims this dehydrator is “whisper quiet”. Hogwash! I had the dehydrator drying the jerky in the garage and we could hear it in the house. Fortunately, “quiet” was not a feature that led me to this dehydrator in the first place. But if someone you know wants a quiet dehydrator you might “whisper” they look at some other brands.

Orders it at Home Depot and had it delivered to my house. It came in 2 days.Very happy with it. Did 15 pounds of deer jerky. Unit is attractive and plenty big enough. The box and packaging is nice to store it back into when your done. It weighs a good bit but with the racks out it’s about 20lbs.

Has a really good fan and heating system Well built, just wish the door was built as well as everything else.
