I have had this lovely machine now for a few years and had to purchase a cheaper one for $10 that brews really hot. It’s lovely to look at and fits in with the other appliances but, it really does nor brew as hot as I love my coffee to be. Usually I have to microwave the coffee for 30 seconds after brewing. I was solidly disappointed because it never really delivered.

The carafe works great at keeping the coffee hot, and it is simple to use, but the clock is too bright and is hard to read, and it is hard to know if you overfilling the water reservoir until it’s too late and water is pouring out the back. It would be better as a 12 cup maker as well.
