I love all the various settings my previous slow cooker didn’t have like sauté and reheat. I feel more at ease knowing it is completely non toxic, and a plus is that the forest green color matches my kitchen cabinets perfectly! Looks lovely on my counter top when in use.

I have a multi-cooker I bought years ago (not the current “it” brand). It has been a good machine for what I used it for. But at over ten years old, the keypad was starting to wear through and the nonstick was wearing off, not to mention the pot was never the easiest to get out of the cooker. I finally decided to break down and get a new one. I never used the pressure cooker function, but I loved that I could brown and slow cook in the same pan. So that’s what I looked for in my new search. It came down to the greenpan and another brand. The other brand had poor reviews on the nonstick, and I’ve slweays heard great things about greenpan, so I thought I’d give it a try. I’m glad I did. It browns evenly, no sticking, and I have had no issues with the nonstick coating. It cooks wonderfully. And I particularly love that this cooker comes in colors besides stainless and black! Would highly recommend.

After about 10 uses, the writing on the control panel started to wear off. Also, I have owned multiple slow cookers over the years. All of them function well, just wore my last one out and decided to splurge on a “fancy “slow cooker since I use them so much. The sauté and steam options are not worth the extra hundred dollars I spent on this. Not even close. Does not store well with frequent movement between my cabinet, and the counter, looks far more worn than its age and use. Buying this was definitely a mistake.
