Mine… like many of the other reviewers had experienced… was great until the plastic wand cover broke. This only took about a month. FYI… if it was made with a better material then I could have given a 5 star rated review! No point in giving me the same useless response all the other reviewers had given because had they listened at all at Mr. Coffee 2 years ago then they would not have sold me the same cheap 1 star product.

I was a barista and I enjoy this machine. I got it 4-5 years ago for Christmas and still use it to this day. I don’t use it as much because I got the iced coffee maker and more an iced coffee person than hot lattes. But when it comes to winter and especially Christmas time I always bring it back out for some yummy warm lattes. It’s super easy to use and still makes really good lattes. It’s perfect for those starting out and get the hang of steaming milk and not breaking the bank if you want to see how often you’ll use it. Also perfect for those on a budget and would like to make coffee at home and stay away from coffee shops. I have saved tons of money because of this machine and the iced coffee machine!! I’ve always been happy with mr.coffee machines. I will say I’m very simple person and at this time don’t need all the bells and whistles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift and was so excited… until I ran water through to clean it as the directions recommended. And it came out with wire pieces, metal shards, dirts, hairs, fuzz, and an oily residue floating on top. Smelled like melting plastic. So I ran water through again… and again… thirty more times. Exactly the same result every single time. Nope. Will not drink anythinkpg that’s comes out of this machine or anything else by this company ever again. Metal flakes?? Why?? So toxic. I feel like I would have sued the company had I accidentally ingested any of this. Zero stars is my rating.
