For the cost this is not well made but it is one of the better ones out there. I have two issues with this popcorn machine. One is I constantly cut my hands on the unfinished met al popping pan. Number two there is a strange coating on the glass that I cannot get off. It is a film and I’ve used Windex, alcohol and WD-40 and it still won’t come off
