I purchased this to replace a 30 yr old deep fryer that has seen its days. This unit is easier to use and I like the basket size for what deep frying I do. The manual states that there is a “ON” only without using the timer, but it says that but doesn’t work that way. You have to use the timer. Other than that, it’s a great little deep fryer!
